SNOW! Budapest, Hungary

There's not that much snow in the Free State, so this was a real novelty. Budapest in the middle of winter.

Visiting the Communist Statue Park in fitting 'communist weather'. Knee deep snow is not such a surprise when your knees are only half a cm from the ground, but it was knee deep for Dave too!Just chillin'

A spiritual homecoming

The town of Rugby, in Nottinghamshire, was always going to be emotional for Teddybok. Rugby gave him life. Rugby is his raison d'etre.

Did you know that a henge was a circle of rocks?

Avebury Henge

Wardour Castle

Wardour Castle was originally built in the late fourteenth century for John, the fifth Baron Lovell. It was inspired by the hexagonal castles then in fashion in parts of the Continent, particularly in France; but its own six-sided design is unique in Britain, as is its inclusion of several self-contained guest suites.

My first trip around the UK

2005-10-30 Birmingham
It is often rumoured that Birmingham has more miles of canal than Italy's Venice. Is this true? I don't know, I'm just a stuffed toy, and I've not been to Venice... yet. But I've been to Birmingham.
Here's me - up top I'm visiting Selfridges, then I'm riding the Bull at the Bullring and below I'm visiting the canal network.

Welcome to the blokoshpere

SandtonHello world. This is me joining my ride, Dave and Hilary, in a Sandton store. They've recently moved from Jo'burg to London and I'm in for a whole world of adventure.

Wish me luck...
