Aaaaaah, now this is the life

That's a little bit of all right. Overlooking Mellieħa Bay.

This lovely shade of bokkie brown requires "work" to maintain. Enjoying the pool at our resort.

Enthralled by the village festa

Village festas are the thing to do when in Malta. We chose to visit Għargħur, a local village whose wiki entry sounded interesting.

The patron saint of Għargħur is St Bartholomew and the festa seemed to be a mix of hymn singing, bell ringing, fireworks, tennis court sized flags, a marching band and a procession carrying a statue of the patron saint.

The fishing fleet is colourful

Sadly the market was 80% plastic trite accompanied by a few stalls selling fish and local baked goods.

Down in the bubbly blue... UNDERWATER

Visiting the Blue Grotto on the island of Capri. Quite spectacular inside, wished we had a chance to swim though.
